If you cancel before completing 24 months on a plan, Watermatic retains the sub-meter along with the smart probe. Once you've completed 24 months, the sub-meter is yours to keep — only the smart probe is retained by Watermatic if you cancel after that point.
It depends on your plan. The Daily plan sends one alert per day. Hourly detects and alerts hourly. 15-Minute alerts every 15 minutes — useful for pinpointing exactly when and where a leak started. All plans include the exact daily Rand cost in the alert.
